Formación

• 4+ years of experience in Accounting / Bookkeeping for companies based in Spain.
• Strong knowledge of Spanish GAAP (PGC), tax laws, and statutory reporting requirements.
• Fluent in Spanish and English, both written and spoken.

Responsabilidades

• Managing day-to-day accounting operations, including posting transactions and month-end close activities.
• Ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions in compliance with Spanish GAAP.
• Preparing and submitting all tax filings, including VAT and corporate income tax.

We are expanding our global team and looking for an Accountant to bring their wider knowledge and help us get our product and service more widely known and used.

Responsibilities include :

• Managing day-to-day accounting operations, including posting transactions, month-end close activities, internal and external reporting, and annual audits.
• Ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions in compliance with Spanish GAAP and local tax regulations.
• Acting as the sole accountant for the Spanish entity, serving as the primary point of contact for all accounting and tax-related matters, and communicating directly with local accounting and tax advisors.
• Preparing and submitting all tax filings, including VAT (IVA), corporate income tax (Impuesto sobre Sociedades), payroll taxes, and other relevant filings.
• Liaising with tax advisors, auditors, and regulatory bodies to ensure full compliance with Spanish tax laws and accounting standards.
• Staying updated on changes in Spanish tax regulations and implementing necessary adjustments to maintain compliance.

Requirements :

• 4+ years of experience in Accounting / Bookkeeping for companies based in Spain.
• Strong knowledge of Spanish GAAP (PGC), tax laws, and statutory reporting requirements.
• Fluent in Spanish and English, both written and spoken.
