We are seeking an experienced Principal Technical Sales & Consulting Specialist to join our Professional Services and Consulting Services team. This role involves consulting with agency customers on product upgrades, implementation, and technology integrations, shaping the strategic direction of a leading global travel technology company.

Responsibilities:
  1. Map customer needs to Sabre solutions, generating value and opportunities for exchange.
  2. Lead technical presentations, product demonstrations, and workshops to showcase Sabre products and APIs aligned with customer needs.
  3. Act as the voice of the customer by collaborating with sales and product teams to propose solution enhancements that improve efficiency and adoption.
  4. Manage end-to-end technical integration consulting processes, including structuring Web-Service payloads in XML during onboarding.
  5. Advocate for customers by resolving complex technical issues affecting Sabre product implementation and operation, providing best practices and proactive consulting.
Qualifications:
  • Deep understanding of the travel industry, content fragmentation, and distribution challenges.
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills to achieve technical and business objectives.
  • Financial awareness regarding cost and budget considerations impacting solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage with high-level decision-makers confidently.
  • Innovative mindset with the ability to approach situations from diverse perspectives.
  • Technical experience in customer-facing roles, especially in eCommerce, with knowledge of GDS and travel APIs.
  • Proficiency with GDS products, Web Services (SOAP, REST), and Web technologies like XML and JSON.
  • Experience with Sabre APIs using tools such as Soap or Postman.
  • Previous development experience is a plus.
  • Native language and cultural familiarity preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.

Additional Skills: Excellent customer service and communication skills, attention to detail, multitasking ability, and experience in online travel or eCommerce environments.
