A leading company in the food industry is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to ensure efficient inventory management. The role involves monitoring stock levels, liaising with various departments, and optimizing warehouse space. Ideal candidates will have a degree in a related field and experience in inventory control, particularly within the food sector.

Formación

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in inventory control, ideally in the food industry.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.

Inventory Control Specialist

Objective : To ensure efficient and accurate inventory control of raw materials, packaging, intermediates, and finished products, ensuring proper stock rotation and avoiding losses, overstocks, or stock-outs.

Main Responsibilities :

• Monitor and record raw material stock levels daily.
• Liaise with Purchasing and Planning to maintain appropriate raw material levels.
• Inform the Supply Planner of critical stock levels or overstocks.
• Manage storage and stock flows between warehouses.
• Identify opportunities for improvement in stock management and propose solutions.
• Configure inventory parameters in MRP to ensure proper operation.
• Assist in organizing warehouse space to optimize capacity and accessibility.

Job Requirements :

• Degree in Logistics, Administration, or related field (desirable).
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in inventory control, ideally in the food industry.
• Knowledge of inventory management systems (ERP, Excel, etc.).
• Knowledge of food storage and preservation standards.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Attention to detail, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
