Job Title: Clinical Data Scientist / Biostatistician

Location: Barcelona, Spain (hybrid)

Job Description

We are creating a position within our data-driven R&D organization for a passionate Clinical Data Scientist / Biostatistician to support our cosmetic product development. The role involves building and implementing digital transformation strategies, analyzing complex datasets, and working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams. Knowledge of clinical development in cosmetics is advantageous.

The role reports to the Director, Global Clinical Innovation and Skin Evaluation.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Implement and maintain the department’s digital transformation strategy.
  2. Analyze clinical datasets to identify trends and insights for product development.
  3. Develop predictive models to enhance efficacy and safety.
  4. Collaborate on experiment design and formulation validation.
  5. Draft study protocols and develop data monitoring dashboards.
  6. Ensure data quality with vendors and automate data collection processes.
  7. Create visualizations and reports for stakeholders.
  8. Stay updated on industry trends and technologies.
Skills & Qualifications
  1. Degree in Biostatistics or Engineering.
  2. Minimum 2 years of experience in clinical data analysis, AI, and machine learning.
  3. Proficiency in Python or R, and visualization tools like Power BI.
  4. Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  5. Knowledge of clinical trial processes and cosmetics industry regulations.
  6. Experience in healthcare digital transformation is a plus.
  7. Understanding of cosmetic development and formulation.
