What are we looking for?

We are seeking a Microservices and AWS specialist to join a project for a global leader in credit cards, auto loans, banking, and savings accounts. This is a 100% remote position, open to candidates in Spain, requiring effective collaboration with international teams.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, high-quality software.
2. Embrace the DevOps mindset: "you build it, you own it, you run it" to ensure reliable and seamless software maintenance.
3. Optimize application performance, quality, and responsiveness.
4. Collaborate effectively both independently and within a team environment.
5. Engage in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including occasional QA and peer code reviews.
6. Align with the objectives and vision set by Product Management.
7. Drive innovation within your team, area of expertise, and broader technical domain.

What do we expect from you?

• Strong skills and knowledge in building APIs.
• Deep understanding of all stages in the SDLC.
• Knowledge of design patterns and principles (e.g., SOLID).
• Experience with testing types: Unit, API, Acceptance, Load Testing.
• Experience with distributed architectures like SOA or MSA.
• Experience with event-driven architectures.
• Experience with REST APIs.
• Relevant experience with AWS services.
• Experience with Gradle or Maven.
• Experience with Enterprise Jenkins.
• Experience working in an Agile environment (Scrum, SAFe).
• English proficiency: B2+ / C1.
