We are seeking a results-driven Iberia Software Sales Account Manager to focus on selling our Data Operations and Data Intelligence solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business within the existing customer base as well as acquiring new clients. You will serve as the primary liaison between Quest Software and 10 focused accounts, as well as own key verticals for sales opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue opportunities to expand the use of Quest’s Data Operations and Data Intelligence solutions within the Iberia market.
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders within your accounts to ensure business growth.
- Drive adoption and expansion of Quest’s solutions through consultative selling.
- Understand clients' business goals, data challenges, and IT infrastructure, developing tailored strategies to meet their needs.
- Analyze market and industry trends to identify growth opportunities within your customer base.
- Collaborate with internal technical and services teams to meet client requirements.
- Provide feedback to internal teams on client needs and market trends to inform product development and marketing strategies.
- Achieve or surpass annual sales targets and strategic account objectives (Company goal is AOP +20%).
- Monitor account performance metrics and prepare reports on account development and sales forecasts.
- Demonstrate strong sales experience with a proven track record of exceeding targets.
- Proven experience as an Account Executive in the data management, software, or IT industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships.
- Strong negotiation skills and a positive, problem-solving attitude.
- Ability to develop a region quickly using past experiences and networks.
- Create and execute a territory plan, monitoring progress regularly.
- Develop relationships with local partners to define strategic action plans.
- Understand customer business and solution requirements.
- Manage complex sales involving large companies and multiple products across business units.
- Handle territory/regional account management, including planning and forecasting.
- Implement various sales and marketing activities.
- Identify, develop, and close sales opportunities through a structured process.
- Develop and maintain strong business relationships.
- Create and execute targeted account plans.
- Lead the sales process utilizing inside sales, technical pre-sales, and marketing resources.
- Present effectively and negotiate successfully.
- Proficient in CRM software and account management systems.
- Willingness and ability to travel as needed.
- Fluent in Spanish and English.
Qualifications
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
