Position: Manufacturing Unit Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will contribute to improving Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) performance in your manufacturing and site services areas. You will support the Ring Motors business by applying HSE knowledge, offering solutions, and ensuring effective risk management through HSE excellence along the ABB value chain.

This role is based in the Trapagaran, Spain factory, serving the Ring Motors – Process Automation Process Industries division. Key stakeholders include Manufacturing and Site Service Teams, as well as factory and global business line management.

Main responsibilities include:

• Reporting HSE incidents and taking appropriate actions
• Facilitating incident investigations to mitigate risks
• Providing feedback on lessons learned and best practices
• Supporting behavioral change through performance improvement programs
• Managing projects related to environment and sustainability, including circularity and zero waste to landfill

Qualifications:

• Degree or Higher Degree in Engineering, Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related field
• At least 2 years of experience in HSE roles
• Experience with HSE procedures in manufacturing plants and international environments
• Experience in the mining or energy industries
• Ability to demonstrate experience as an HSE technician
• Passion for occupational health, safety, and sustainability
• Fluent in Spanish and English
