• 3 to 5 years of experience in Compliance, preferably in FMCG/Food industry.
• Background in commercial and corporate law.

Position: Compliance Legal Specialist

We are looking for a Compliance Legal Specialist to join our Legal & Compliance Europe team. The incumbent will be responsible for:

1. Assessing financial, operational, and legal risks, creating plans to handle potential issues, and advising on prevention, detection, and reaction strategies.
2. Providing regular reports on the effectiveness of compliance measures across European and African business divisions.
3. Updating and maintaining the compliance risk map.
4. Developing, implementing, and managing the organization’s compliance program and the Ethics and Compliance Committee's agenda.
5. Managing whistleblowing channels and supporting investigations related to possible non-compliance with the Code of Conduct, in collaboration with Internal Control Department.
6. Leading compliance projects and participating in offices on Competition Law and Data Protection.
7. Implementing and overseeing compliance with policies, guidelines, procedures, and standards in Europe and Africa.
8. Designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs to raise awareness and foster a compliance culture.
9. Collaborating with the Head Office Compliance Manager on various compliance initiatives.
10. Reviewing data processing agreements, drafting data protection clauses, conducting balancing tests, and assessing data retention periods.

Requirements

• Degree in Law, with specific qualification or certification in Compliance.
• Fluent in English; French language skills are a plus.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in Compliance, preferably in FMCG/Food industry.
• Background in commercial and corporate law.
• Data Protection/Privacy capabilities are highly valuable.
