We are currently recruiting a new Product Manager for the Sweet Ingredients Segment.

Details

At Disproquima, we are seeking a Product Manager with expertise in the Sweet Segments of the Food Industry (including Dairy, Confectionery, Bakery, Chocolates, and Beverages) to join our Global Food & Beverages team. This role involves managing ingredient suppliers and providing technical support to our international sales teams. Main responsibilities include:

  1. Defining strategic suppliers for the sweet segments portfolio.
  2. Defining strategic products within the sweet segments.
  3. Creating and managing supplier relationships.
  4. Negotiating prices with suppliers and managing distribution/customer protection agreements.
  5. Searching for new represented companies.
  6. Conducting purchase analysis and making proposals.
  7. Managing incidents and claims in collaboration with the Quality Department.
  8. Performing trend analysis.
  9. Attending specialized trade fairs.
  10. Providing technical and commercial support to the sales network.
  11. Achieving budget targets for their portfolio segment.

Who are we looking for?

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Technologies or a related field.
  • Over 3 years of experience in R&D roles within the food industry, focusing on sweet product development.
  • Proficient in English (written and spoken).
  • Commercial skills (experience preferred but not required).
  • Willingness to travel.
