Your Day-to-Day

What You Will Bring to the Team :

1. Help your team grow the technical and non-technical skills they need to ship better products.
2. Evaluate the effectiveness of the UX process over time and optimize the documentation and delivery of our artifacts to ensure the best cross-functional collaboration possible.
3. Own the creation and management of high-level design timelines.
4. Decide on the best approach for the needs of every project and understand that a strict process is not always possible to follow.
5. Rapid sketching and wireframing with collaborative feedback from cross-functional project leads to ensure business goals are met and technical constraints are considered.
6. Create information architecture diagrams to document new workflows and hierarchies for your project team.
7. Contribute to evolving our user-first, agile design methodology with new ideas, best practices, and learnings from various user experience groups and resources.
8. Collaborate closely with the engineering team as designs are implemented to ensure products meet our usability standards before release.
9. Work closely with the UX team to ensure design consistency and efficiency.
10. Lead user research to validate your design hypotheses and solutions via interviews, usability tests, and data analysis.
11. Communicate frequently with your product/project team to explain design decisions, present user workflows, and understand user needs.
12. Require 6 years of experience building digital software or applications in a UX designer role.
13. Have deep technical expertise in one or more UX Design skills: Content Design, User Research, Interaction Design, Interface Design, or Product Design.
14. Possess a background in UX Design with related education, such as certifications or a degree.
15. Have strong English communication skills in person, on paper, and over video with international teams and clients.
16. Ability to work with existing design patterns and assets, and the creativity to define new patterns for innovative problems.
17. Proficiency with design tools such as Sketch, Invision, Figma, etc.
18. Initiative to drive projects forward to completion.
19. A positive attitude and ability to work on multiple fast-paced products with different teams.
20. Be a quick learner and ask questions when needed — we live by “measure twice, cut once.”
