Main Purpose of the Role
Mars Renewable (MARS) is dedicated to the global battery storage business, with the aim to become a global leader of battery solution provider. Our team combined has established a track record of 2+ GW of grid-connected renewable projects globally.
Mars Renewable Europe Sales team is looking for a passionate and dynamic renewable energy sales leader to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a strong entrepreneur to advance their career to the next level. Reporting to the regional head of Europe Sales team, this position will work with cross-functional teams to deliver successful battery storage projects.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Originate opportunities and create compelling customer proposals for energy storage solutions.
- Capture customer requirements, collaborate with Solution team to complete the commercial and technical proposal, deliver compelling offers for key customers.
- Negotiate key commercial terms with the customer and reach to close transactions.
- Drive account sales strategy and establish communication cadence with the extended account resources to ensure full engagement and accountability and develop relationships with key customers, channel partners, and industry stakeholders.
- Support and participate in business development and sales meetings with customers and represent MARS at industry conferences and professional forums.
- Understand the go-to-market dynamics, define business cases, and disseminate functional requirements with internal business and engineering colleagues.
- Report market activities and developments back to the company.
Requirements
- Relevant sales or commercial experience within the energy industry, experience within the renewable energy sector is preferred.
- Affinity with the renewable energy sector and a passion to learn.
- Desire to work collaboratively in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
- Knowledge of battery storage systems, grid systems, and photovoltaic power is preferred.
- Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills with ability to interface with a strong customer mindset.
- Ability to understand and synthesize complex technical product information.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
