E-commerce Activation Manager Iberia
About the Role
We are looking for a strategic and hands-on professional to join asE-commerce & Category Manager Iberia, with a primary focus on accelerating our E-commerce business across key customers like Amazon, El Corte Inglés, Carrefour, among others. You will lead digital growth initiatives, optimize online presence, and act as the internal E-commerce expert.
In addition, you will support Category Management activities in Spain, giving support to manage key national and regional customers, from Modern Retail and Wholesalers channel to enhance in-store performance through shopper-focused strategies.
What You Will Do
As E-commerce Manager (Primary Focus):
- Lead the development and execution of E-commerce strategies across Iberia, through straight collaboration with the sales team, managing key accounts such as Amazon, El Corte Inglés online, Carrefour among others.
- Coordinate online promotions, eRetail Media activities, and digital content localization in collaboration with brand and media agencies.
- Optimize product visibility and performance on e-retailer platforms, ensuring alignment with national campaigns and digital marketing plans.
- Analyze customer potential (pure players and omnichannel), prioritize opportunities, and manage assortment and promotional plans accordingly.
- Act as the internal E-commerce expert, sharing insights, tracking performance, and ensuring E-commerce is embedded in business planning.
As Category Manager (Complementary Scope):
- Support the development and implementation of category strategies in Spain, focusing on assortment, distribution, and shopper activation.
- Giving support to the assigned customers to execute tailored initiatives that drive in-store visibility and performance.
- Provide insights and recommendations to Sales, contribute to customer meetings, and support decision-making with data-driven analysis.
- Coordinate the development of PoS materials and evaluate ROI of key initiatives, ensuring alignment with marketing and sales priorities.
Who You Are
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Economics, Marketing, or related field; additional training in E-commerce or digital sales is a plus.
- Minimum 2 years of E-commerce experience, preferably in FMCG or E-commerce retail environments.
- Proven experience managing and optimizing digital shelf activation, including SEO, merchandising, and content management.
- Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of forecasting and performance metrics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced preferred), PowerPoint, and tools such as Google Analytics, Salsify, Amazon Inventory Files, and Nielsen Discover.
- Familiarity with platforms like Amazon Seller Central, Walmart, or other marketplaces.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional relationships.
- Autonomous, proactive, and results-driven, with strong project management capabilities.
- Fluency in English and Spanish is mandatory; Portuguese is a plus.
- Strong organizational and collaborative skills, with the ability to operate in a matrix environment.
- Knowledge of digital marketing channels (Paid Media, Email, social media) and E-commerce technologies is desirable.
