A leading software company in Spain is seeking an experienced Alliance Manager to drive new business and manage strategic partner alliances across Italy and Iberia. The ideal candidate will have extensive sales experience, a partner network in the region, and fluency in Spanish and Italian. This position includes a strong commission structure and opportunities for leadership in partner engagement.

Formación

  • Extensive experience in Sales, Alliances, or both within enterprise software or consulting companies.
  • Experience in strategy development at a senior management level (VP/C-level).
  • Proven leadership in creating and managing partner communities.

Responsabilidades

  • Develop new relationships with large System Integrators, Consulting Partners, and SAM Service Partners.
  • Identify and develop key account alliances and relationship programs to generate sales opportunities.
  • Manage strategic partner alliances and opportunity pipelines.

Alliance Manager - Italy and Iberia

The Alliance Manager for Italy and Iberia is a senior role responsible for our top strategic Global & European partners. The role focuses on generating new business within the region, working closely with the regional RVP, sales team, management, and other Alliance Managers across Europe. The primary focus is on new license sales from Flexera’s Enterprise Solutions (mainly ITAM solutions, IT Visibility, and Cloud Cost) and driving business development and service delivery strategies for selected partners in the Medi region.

This position is quota-carrying, with revenue as the final metric. All leads and opportunities from partner activities are tracked, and commissions are paid on closed business. The role is also eligible for an annual President’s Club trip.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop new relationships with large System Integrators, Consulting Partners, and SAM Service Partners.
  • Identify and develop key account alliances and relationship programs to generate sales opportunities.
  • Build detailed plans with partner executives to drive strategic engagement, develop partner skills and certifications on Flexera solutions, and execute joint marketing activities.
  • Manage strategic partner alliances, opportunity pipelines, and ensure retention, growth, and customer success.
  • Evaluate program trends, provide analysis and recommendations to management.
  • Work toward mutual goals, strategies, and objectives to support the strategic benefits of the alliance.
  • Conduct financial analyses, long-range forecasting, and analysis studies related to alliances.
  • Monitor competitor activity and implement strategies to maintain account ownership.
  • Drive joint selling and marketing initiatives.
  • Coordinate partner enablement activities (training, implementation, certification).
  • Track opportunities within Salesforce.com CRM, understand pipeline and revenue forecasts involving partners.
  • Create structured Business Plans to focus on business objectives.
  • Provide market feedback to Product Management for product improvement.
Required Experience & Skills:
  • Fluent in Spanish and Italian; good command of English.
  • Extensive experience in Sales, Alliances, or both within enterprise software or consulting companies.
  • Existing partner network in Italy, Spain, and Portugal.
  • Experience in strategy development at a senior management level (VP/C-level).
  • Proven leadership in creating and managing partner communities.
  • Solution Sales methodology knowledge.
  • Knowledge of virtualization, cloud, asset management, ITSM, migration, security.
  • Ability to develop business initiatives and work across multiple groups within Flexera.
  • Willingness to travel at least 30%.
