Job summary

IKEA in Madrid, Spain seeks a senior MS Dynamics Lead Software Engineer to provide technical leadership across the Dynamics 365 platform and its product teams. Initial focus on Case Management for Contact Centers, with potential expansion to broader customer and B2B capabilities.

You will work with Platform Engineering and senior stakeholders to ensure sustainable, secure and reusable solutions, and to guide architecture, governance and delivery. English required.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365, especially Customer Service and Case Management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Power Platform and related cloud services.
• Experience with configuration, extensibility, and lifecycle management of Dynamics 365.
• Knowledge of enterprise integration patterns, APIs, events and data synchronization.
• Experience with source control, CI/CD, automated testing and release management.
• Able to design secure, scalable, observable, and maintainable platform architectures.
• Experience leading engineering alignment across multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate engineering alignment across the Dynamics 365 platform and product teams.
• Lead technical initiatives to support platform strategy and roadmaps.
• Promote use of Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and related cloud capabilities.
• Collaborate with architects on design, refactoring and evolution of the platform.
• Identify opportunities for reuse across teams (APIs, data models, components).
• Reduce duplication and technical debt by using standard platform capabilities.
• Act as ambassador for modern software engineering and secure-by-design practices.
• Define and apply engineering standards for Dynamics 365 configuration and lifecycle management.
• Ensure solutions consider security, privacy, resilience and total cost of ownership.
• Provide day-to-day technical leadership to engineers and partners.
• Translate business needs into feasible technical options with stakeholders.
