Job summary

Belgravia Leisure is seeking a qualified Duty Manager to oversee the stadium and aquatics teams, ensuring safety, smooth operations, and exceptional customer service in the absence of the Centre Manager.

This hands-on role requires strong leadership, flexible availability for mornings, evenings and weekends, and readiness to expand to aquatic operations at the Wurdi Baierr Aquatic and Recreation centre from early 2027.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership experience with an ability to inspire others.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Sound knowledge of work health and safety legislative guidelines, evacuation and emergency procedures.
• Demonstrated experience of plant room management and Pool operations is essential.
• Ability to work mornings, evenings and weekends.
• Current First Aid (Level 2) & Current CPR Certificate
• Working with Children's check
• National Police Check clearance
• Current Pool Lifeguard Certificate
• Current Pool Operations Certificate

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety, evacuation and operation of the centre in the absence of the Centre Manager.
• Direct day-to-day activities of the café, aquatics, health club, sports programmes, private hires, events and customer service staff.
• Expand to cover aquatic operations at the Wurdi Baierr Aquatic and Recreation centre from early 2027 while overseeing current stadium operations in the interim.
