CEO Position at a DeepTech MedTech Startup

Lead the future of non-invasive diagnostics with innovation & vision.

About the Opportunity :

We are an innovative DeepTech MedTech company developing a first-in-class diagnostic solution addressing a major unmet clinical need in disease management. Our proprietary technology is designed to enhance early detection and disease monitoring, offering a transformative alternative to current diagnostic methods. With a patented technology, strong preclinical validation, advanced fundraising, and a clear regulatory roadmap, we are positioned to scale globally, targeting hospitals, laboratories, and retail healthcare providers.

To drive our next phase of growth, we are seeking a visionary and entrepreneurial CEO to lead the company through fundraising, market expansion, and commercialization.

Your Role :

  • Strategic leadership : Define and execute the company’s long-term vision to position it as a global leader in non-invasive diagnostics.
  • Market expansion : Develop and implement go-to-market strategies across Europe, the U.S., and Asia, securing partnerships with key healthcare stakeholders.
  • Regulatory & compliance oversight : Ensure a successful regulatory approval pathway (CE, FDA, ISO compliance) for international commercialization.
  • Fundraising & investor relations : Lead investment rounds, secure venture capital, grants, and strategic partnerships, and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Operational growth & team leadership : Scale the organization, recruit top talent, and foster a high-performance, innovation-driven culture.
  • Commercialization & business development : Drive B2B and B2B2C market adoption, engaging with hospitals, pharmaceutical companies, and healthcare distributors.
  • Innovation & R&D strategy : Expand the diagnostic pipeline and explore new applications within the company’s technology platform.

Who You Are :

  • Proven success in MedTech, Biotech or HealthTech startups, ideally within the diagnostics or medical device space.
  • Strong scientific and business background, with a degree in Medicine, Biotech, Bioengineering or Life Sciences.
  • An MBA or business / finance expertise is a strong plus.
  • Regulatory expertise, with deep knowledge of IVD regulations (IVDR, FDA, CE) and pathways for market entry.
  • Fundraising experience, with a track record of raising venture capital, securing grants and structuring corporate partnerships.
  • High-growth startup leadership with experience scaling companies from early stage to global expansion.
  • Expertise in strategic partnerships, particularly with hospitals, insurers, distributors, and pharmaceutical companies.
  • Excellent communication and public speaking skills, with the ability to engage effectively with investors, regulators, and industry stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English (Spanish, Catalan or other languages are a plus).
