Sonae Arauco is looking for a production manager in Linares to oversee the annual budget for coated production, ensure compliance with manufacturing procedures, and promote continuous improvement. The role requires a degree in Engineering, fluency in English, and strong planning and teamwork competencies.

Competences:

• Define, propose and control the activity plan and annual budget for coated production, analyzing its evolution vs planned, base on productions indicators, proposing corrective measures aimed at achieving the values and objectives initially foressen.
• Coordinate the definition of manufacturing procedures/work instructions for new products and/or changes to existing products, to ensure the systematized technical information required for the manufacturing process.
• Control compliance with defined manufacturing procedures, as well as work instructions and product specifications, in order to ensure maximum quality of the final product.
• Propose and select the human and material resources to be used, as well as propose minimum stock levels (paper and chipboard) in order to avoid failures and breaks in the production lines and guarantee the best service provision at the best price for the unit factory.
• Promote and implement training (room training and workplace training) in order to qualify employees and make their performance more effective, ensuring knowledge of procedures and ensuring monitoring of production costs and resolution of parameters outside the normal.
• Propose new industrial reconfiguration and implementation of equipment and projects, aiming to expand production capacity, which maximizes productions objectives both in quantity and quality, reducing industrial costs.
• Comply with and ensure that the direct work team complies with the procedures and rules in force for the areas of quality, environment, hygiene and safety, energy and responsibility, applicable to the function and the entire factory, participating in the identification and implementation of aspects continuous improvement.
