Role Summary: We are a young Boutique Investment Bank, headquartered in Spain with a presence in several European countries. As a Senior Analyst at KH Holdings, you will lead the analysis and structuring department, focusing on optimizing business models and financial plans for startups and SMEs seeking investment rounds between €500k and €5M. Your expertise will influence our clients' success in securing funding by providing strategic insights and support during engagements with VC and private equity (PE) funds. Success in this role is defined by delivering accurate analyses, guiding clients through the investment process, and exceeding performance targets, ultimately contributing to our organization's growth.

The role is primarily remote via videoconferencing, with a preference for candidates in the CET time zone. We are open to part-time roles, provided they are at least 50% time and within the CET zone for business operations.

Responsibilities:

1. Business Model Analysis: Evaluate and improve startup and SME business models to meet VC investment criteria and market trends.
2. Financial Planning: Develop comprehensive financial plans and forecasts reflecting realistic growth and funding needs.
3. Department Leadership: Lead and grow the analysis and structuring team, mentoring junior analysts and fostering collaboration.
4. Support Placement Efforts: Collaborate with the placement department to prepare materials, incorporate VC feedback, and strengthen client engagements.
5. Investment Readiness Assessment: Conduct assessments to identify client strengths and areas for improvement.
6. Market Research: Keep updated on industry trends, competitor landscapes, and investor preferences to inform strategies.
7. Performance Tracking: Monitor departmental and individual metrics to ensure objectives are met and funding success is achieved.

Qualifications:

• Education: MBA or equivalent in Finance or related field.
• Experience: Proven financial analysis and business planning experience; investment banking experience is a plus but not mandatory.
• Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills; proficiency in financial modeling tools; fluency in English; Spanish proficiency is a strong plus.
• Training: Willingness to participate in ongoing training to enhance industry knowledge.

Compensation:

Competitive package including salary, performance bonuses, and fully vested share options within six months, contingent on targets.
