A global travel organization is seeking a DMC Application Support specialist to ensure stability in operational travel systems. This role focuses on troubleshooting issues, liaising between agencies and system providers, and driving improvement in system functionality. Ideal candidates will have experience in the tourism industry and application support, coupled with strong analytical and communication skills. The position offers a dynamic work environment and the chance to impact millions of travel experiences worldwide.

Formación

• Experience in the tourism or travel industry.
• Understanding of DMC operations or travel system environments is a strong advantage.
• Background in application support, system support or technical customer support.
• Ability to prioritise and work in dynamic operational environments.
• Comfortable working in international and multicultural teams.

DMC Application Support (m/f/d)

Every year, around 4 million travellers rely on DERTOUR’s global DMC network for their experiences in destinations worldwide.

Behind every hotel booking, transfer and excursion sits a complex operational system landscape that keeps travel running smoothly.

As DMC Application Support, you ensure the stability and performance of these mission-critical systems. Acting as the central interface between our Destination Management Companies and external system providers, you help resolve issues quickly and continuously improve our operational technology landscape.

Location

This role can be based in any European, Mediterranean or North African destination where a DERTOUR DMC operates (for example Palma de Mallorca, Antalya, Iraklion, Tunis or Hurghada), with alignment to European working hours.

Your Mission

• Provide application support for operational travel systems used by our DMC agencies
• Analyse and troubleshoot system or process issues
• Act as key liaison between DMC agencies and third-party system providers
• Manage ticket communication and escalation processes
• Support system functionality, configuration and data quality
• Identify recurring issues and drive process or system improvements
• Support system trainings together with internal teams and external partners
• Contribute to international projects across the DMC network

Your Profile

• Experience in the tourism or travel industry
• Understanding of DMC operations or travel system environments is a strong advantage
• Background in application support, system support or technical customer support
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritise and work in dynamic operational environments
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
• Fluent English; additional European languages are a plus
• Comfortable working in international and multicultural teams
