Job Description

Galderma seeks a qualified lawyer to serve as Head of Legal & Compliance, Distributor Markets, and EMEAC In-Line Business Franchise Lead. The role involves ensuring legal and ethical operations across regions and business areas, supporting strategic initiatives, and maintaining high standards of integrity and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, supporting business growth and safeguarding assets and reputation.
  2. Develop and implement compliance training programs.
  3. Manage distributor relationships, including due diligence, compliance, and contracts.
  4. Maintain governance and compliance practices for third-party interactions.
  5. Lead contract negotiations for distribution agreements in EMEAC and support other regions.
  6. Maintain a global distributor tracker and repository.
  7. Provide legal and compliance support to internal stakeholders in the Therapeutic Dermatology area.
  8. Collaborate with medical and regulatory teams on promotional materials and advisory board content.
  9. Review and negotiate contracts, ensuring legal compliance.
  10. Advise on international congresses and events-related legal matters.
Skills & Qualifications
  1. Qualified lawyer in a major EU jurisdiction with healthcare industry experience.
  2. Experience in negotiating and ensuring compliance of distribution contracts, preferably in Life Sciences.
  3. Knowledge of laws and regulations in pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, or medical devices.
  4. Strong communication skills, executive presence, and ability to interact with senior leadership.
  5. Commercial mindset and business acumen.
  6. Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
