From Hays, we are looking for a Graphic Designer for a major packaging supplier with an international presence. As a Graphic Designer, you will be under the supervision of the head of the technical office, who is responsible for the design and development of packaging and the preparation of technical documentation in general.

About the role

Reporting to the Technical Director, the Structural Designer's role will be responsible for managing the design and development of packaging and elaboration of the documentation.

Your remit will include but is not limited to :

Structural Design :

• Draw new structural plans for boxes.
• Modify structural plans.
• Create physical samples.
• Check the samples and glue them to send to the commercial team or client.
• Follow up on existing and / or future designs of POS displays.
• Find the best structural plan solution for productivity and quality.

Graphic Design :

• Apply graphic design to the structural design.
• Optimize the design for the process.
• Direct cooperation with the client for the creation of new designs and modifications to current ones.
• Print using a plotter.

About you

• Studies related to graphic design.
• 5 years of previous experience in a similar role.
• Training in Occupational Risk Prevention (PRL) in their previous job.
• Experience with the following tools : Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, ArtiosCAD.
• Experience in POS displays.
• Languages : Spanish fluent and advanced English.
