Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and passionate Activewear / Knitwear Fashion Designer to join our creative team. As part of our design department, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and developing innovative activewear and knitwear collections that align with the latest fashion trends and our sustainability ethos. You will play a pivotal role in the design process, from ideation to production, ensuring that our designs meet both aesthetic and functional standards while contributing to our commitment to environmentally conscious fashion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conceptualize and create designs for activewear / knitwear, staying on top of trends and brand aesthetics.
• Develop design collections from initial sketches to final production-ready designs.
• Collaborate closely with the design and production teams to refine designs and resolve any technical issues during the development phase.
• Conduct ongoing market and trend research to anticipate and set design directions, including color, fabric, and style innovations.
• Create and maintain detailed tech packs, including technical specifications, materials, colorways, and garment construction.
• Maintain strong communication across departments to ensure design concepts are implemented smoothly in production.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an activewear or knitwear Fashion Designer, with a diverse and impressive portfolio.
• Expertise in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.) and familiarity with 3D design tools is a plus.
• A deep understanding of garment construction, fabric behavior, and pattern making.
• Strong creative vision and ability to adapt to the brand's aesthetics and sustainability goals.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• High attention to detail and accuracy, with a strong focus on quality.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and highly organized.
• Team-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Passionate about sustainability and integrating eco-friendly practices into design.

Languages:

• Fluency in Spanish and English is required.
