RateGain is seeking a Director for European markets to build strategic relationships with hotel chains and drive the adoption of innovative technology solutions. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in Hospitality Technology sales, strong skills in negotiation, and a passion for customer success in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This role is pivotal in aligning RateGain's offerings with the commercial priorities of European hotel chains and ensuring their satisfaction and growth.

Formación

Exploring the role RateGain is privileged to partner with hotels of every size and type around the world to achieve their commercial objectives – from independent, luxury, lifestyle, and boutique hotels, to the world’s largest chains. Chains - and multi-site operators - have unique business requirements, additional complexity, and often use more diverse technology solutions. As a partner of choice for global and regional chains, RateGain is looking to further serve this important segment of the hospitality industry and seeks an experienced Director focused on European markets, to further scale this essential unit of our business. The ideal candidate will understand how European hotel chains function and operate, and will be familiar with the technology solutions adopted by these chains to achieve their commercial objectives. The role requires a trusted advisor, able to assist chains to manage through the complexities of the travel technology eco system to guide them to the right decisions in the areas of distribution, business intelligence, marketing technologies, and beyond. This is an individual contributor role and, as such, the candidate is expected to be a self-started and self-driven, ready to innovate to find new values for our hotel chain clients whilst keeping the company goals and the bigger picture firmly in mind. This position can be based anywhere in Europe and needs to have the ability to travel within the EU without limitations.

How your day will look like / Job responsibility Develop and execute a detailed business and go-to-market plan, aligned to the commercial priorities for European hotel chains and aligned to RateGain’s solution portfolio Establish, build, and maintain relationships with hotel chains throughout Europe, positioning RateGain as a preferred solution provider and partner Lead RateGain’s engagement with European hotel chains, generate interest in our solutions, and drive adoption of our solution portfolio with new and existing customers (including commercial negotiation and contract closure). Manage the sales pipeline and monthly sales forecast, as well as maintain real-time activity tracking. Meet and exceed targets on a monthly and quarterly basis Understand the value of RateGain products as well as competitive offerings and articulate RateGain benefits in a manner meaningful to European hotel chains Work with internal teams including Customer Success and Product Management to identify new areas of collaboration with European hotel chains, to provide feedback to support evolution of our solutions and the launch of capabilities, and to ensure customer satisfaction

Education & Work Experience Minimum 5 years’ experience in Hospitality Technology sales to European Hotel Chains, ideally within the Distribution and Revenue Management segments, with proven experience of exceeding goals, and driving customer satisfaction

Knowledge Experience negotiating commercial deals and contracts In-depth understanding of hotel distribution technology (including connection with OTAs, GDSs, content etc.),rate intelligence solutions and marketing technology solutions Salesforce.com CRM experience is highly appreciated Skills Strong empathy / obsession for customers AND passion for revenue and growth Ability to manage influence through persuasion, negotiation, and consensus building; analytical and process-oriented mindset Excellent communication and presentation skills. Fluent in English; competency in additional European languages is desirable Attitude Demonstrated passion for continuous learning and improvement You are adaptable and can prioritize really well Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-transaction type sales environment.
