Scopely is looking for a Director of Product Security to join our IT / Ops team in Barcelona on a hybrid basis or remote in Spain or Portugal.

What You Will Do

1. Direct and participate in penetration tests and game feature security assessment activities.
2. Frequently interact with game studios to understand their plans, risk posture, tolerance, and how information security can securely enable them to execute their vision and business obligations.
3. Provide expert guidance for addressing current security issues and has the foresight to see where the industry is headed to deliver optimal secure solutions proactively.
4. Report regularly to senior management to keep them abreast of the threat landscape, tactical controls, and strategic plans to succeed.
5. Make process improvements for effective automation and orchestration to maximize team talent and streamline routine tasks.
6. Establish a prioritized roadmap for Product Security activities.
7. Drive strategy for product security and securing software development methodology that aligns with business objectives.
8. Collaborate with product and engineering teams to integrate security controls at every stage of the software development life cycle.
9. Foster a culture of security awareness, including the education and training of developers on secure coding practices.
10. Drive the adoption of automated security tools and processes to enable shift-left security practices.
11. Work with various stakeholders to build and maintain a product security roadmap.
12. Recruit and develop a strong team of security professionals.

What We're Looking For

1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Information Security, or Information System.
2. Requires a minimum of 12 years of related specialized experience.
3. Expertly writes and reviews documents and articulately communicates across cross-functional stakeholders.
4. Develops budgets, surfaces risks, and raises them to leadership with proposed solutions to complex topics while influencing team resource budgets and allocation.
5. Networks to bring top talent and external learnings to Scopely.
6. Ability to lead and execute large projects.
7. Effective in communicating the business risk of cybersecurity issues to leaders across the organization.
8. Ability to contribute to and maintain an annual budget.
9. Ability to build and maintain a high-performing team.
10. Effective communicator with peers, leaders, and partners.
11. Information security certifications.
