Join Our Global R&D Team as Director Product Management for Application Development Frameworks

Are you a visionary and decisive leader with a passion for product management and a deep understanding of application development? We are seeking a Director Product Management for Application Development Frameworks to join our global R&D team. This critical role requires a unique blend of functional product management skills and technical expertise in software development platforms, including workflow engines, UI frameworks, code generation, back-end engineering, and developer experiences.

What You'll Do :

• Drive Product Vision and Strategy : Identify key investments and define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Application Development Framework, ensuring it provides robust capabilities for IFS application groups to develop their industry-specific solutions.
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally : Work closely with engineering, design, and other cross-functional teams to develop and launch innovative features and products that empower IFS application groups.
• Conduct Market Research : Perform market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats, ensuring the framework remains at the forefront of technology.
• Engage with Stakeholders : Gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure alignment with business goals by engaging with internal and external stakeholders, particularly focusing on the needs of IFS application groups.
• Measure Product Success : Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and inform decision-making, with a focus on how well the framework supports the development of industry-specific solutions.
• Advocate for User Experience : Ensure products are intuitive, reliable, and meet user needs by advocating for the end-user experience, particularly for developers using the framework.
• Overcome Roadblocks : Identify roadblocks and provide practical recommendations for overcoming them, ensuring the framework's continuous improvement.
• Lead and Mentor : Recruit, lead, mentor, and develop a team of product managers, all focusing on capabilities within the application development framework space, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Location :

This role can be fulfilled remotely from home or from one of our nearby offices. Candidates must be located in the Netherlands, the UK, Sweden, Sri Lanka, or Spain.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record of successfully managing the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and beyond.
• Ability to analyze complex data and make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Experience in the technology, software, or related industries.
• Hands-on experience with application development frameworks.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
• Proven ability to understand customer needs and translate them into successful products.
