Visit.org is looking for a passionate and ambitious Operations Associate to join our remote team. The Operations Associate will own the daily communications between external stakeholders as it relates to events. The right candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit, extreme passion for our mission, and the energy and discipline to thrive in a start-up tech environment.

Note

This is a remote, two to three-month temporary contract role (40 hours/week, 8 hours/day, invoiced monthly) based in Spain. The ideal candidate will work local hours from 11 am to 7 pm CET.

Responsibilities
  1. Manage supplies for Visit.org’s social impact events in Europe: source, purchase, and facilitate timely shipment of items for high-quality execution.
  2. Track shipments and ensure timely, budget-compliant delivery.
  3. Evaluate vendors for best pricing and efficiency.
  4. Manage daily communication with wholesalers and oversee event supplies inventory.
  5. Ensure quality assurance of event kits, including testing and photographing inventory.
  6. Prepare and maintain budgets, cost estimates, reports, and project documentation such as delivery schedules, status reports, and purchase orders.
  7. Coordinate with internal teams to meet event needs and resolve issues.
  8. Maintain a feedback loop with cross-functional teams for continuous improvement.
  9. Identify risks and develop innovative solutions to ensure successful, scheduled events.
Qualifications
  1. At least 2 years supporting project management and operations; event experience is a plus.
  2. Experience in sourcing supplies and conducting quality control checks.
  3. Ability to prioritize and organize tasks efficiently.
  4. Proficiency in G-suite, Salesforce, and project management tools preferred.
  5. Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  6. Proficiency in English and another language is advantageous.
  7. Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment.
  8. Passion for our mission and a desire to make a global impact through technology.
