A leading company in entertainment is seeking a Director of Television Licensing to oversee and manage the licensing of content across Spain and Portugal. This pivotal role entails developing strategic plans, managing relationships with broadcasters, and maximizing revenue from a diverse portfolio of television properties. The successful candidate will engage closely with multifunctional teams and negotiate high-stakes licensing deals, while contributing to the company’s growth in a dynamic media landscape.
Please note that this role is based in Spain. In order to enable us to meet statutory and regulatory obligations of the Spanish immigration system you must have the appropriate immigration permission needed to work and reside in Spain for the duration of the employment.
The Director of Television Licensing is responsible for leading and managing the licensing of television content across Spain and Portugal. This role involves developing and implementing strategic plans to maximize the revenue potential from a diverse portfolio of movies and television properties including scripted unscripted and animated series.
The Director will work closely with a multifunctional team as well as legal departments to negotiate and secure licensing deals and partnerships that align with the organizations goals.
