We believe this surfaces as a natural byproduct of strong business results. Instead, this role is focused on the hands-on management of the company's operational facets of maintaining efficiency as we scale our remote workforce.In this pivotal role, you, along with a small team of 1-2 individuals, will spearhead the planning and execution of company-wide communications and activities, oversee IT services, manage our knowledge base, and handle a variety of operational and administrative duties. This role is ideal for a dynamic leader who flourishes in a fast-moving environment. It demands a proactive approach, creative solutions, and a commitment to rapidly delivering top-priority outcomes.Your Mission:- ** Remote-first Communications & Rituals**- As a fully remote company spread across numerous time zones, we must provide and maintain resources via processes, tools, services, and knowledge management that allow our team to find the information they need when they need it. The key to successfully doing this is pragmatic process creation, optimization, monitoring, and management in order to ensure a continuous process improvement mindset flourishes.- Plan and conduct rituals that support the rhythm of the business and facilitate a balance of asynchronous and synchronous communications. This ranges from regular async announcements on various platforms to online monthly town hall meetings and even the planning or support of some in-person team meetups.- ** General Operations**- This includes a mix of dedicated and as-needed logístical leadership across administrative activities and team support, company-wide reporting, IT support and administrative tool oversight, and more.In summary, we are searching for a passionate, hands-on leader who is eager to drive change and achieve operational excellence in operations across a fully remote company.
