European Investment Bank (EIB) is seeking a Head of Regional Development Division at its Luxembourg headquarters. The role leads a multidisciplinary team in the Regional Development Division within the Housing, Cities and Region Department, overseeing multi-sector investments and policy input for cohesion and just transition.

The post requires regular office presence in Luxembourg, with a permanent contract at grade 7.

Responsabilités

• Lead, coordinate and supervise the work of the Regional Development Division (REGDEV) within the Housing, Cities and Region Department (HCR).
• Plan, organise, manage and control the activities of the Division; set objectives and evaluate staff performance.
• Contribute to formulation and implementation of EIB lending, advisory and policy strategies in regional development, cohesion and multi-sector public infrastructure.
• Ensure that techno-economic, socio-economic, environmental and risk considerations are assessed and documented to required standards.
• Coordinate and supervise appraisal, monitoring and advisory work across multi-sector operations inside and outside the EU.
