European Investment Bank (EIB) seeks a Climate Change Specialist to lead climate risk and accounting workstreams from its Luxembourg headquarters. The role involves coordinating climate policy, Paris alignment, and emissions methodologies within the Projects Directorate’s Sustainability workstreams.

You will collaborate with EC, IFIs and NGFS groups, supporting governance, risk assessment, and data-driven decision making in a highly international setting.

Qualificações

• University degree in engineering, economics or related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience including climate-related work.
• Strong Excel and data analytics skills for managing complex datasets.
• Knowledge of international climate policy and GHG accounting methods.
• Experience with decarbonization policies and climate risk management.

Responsabilidades

• Implement Paris Alignment of Counterparties framework across the Bank.
• Lead GHG accounting and reporting workstreams at project and portfolio levels.
• Contribute to climate risk framework development and internal data procurement.
• Develop external partnerships to advance climate risk work and Paris alignment.
