The position involves managing a large team, overseeing method validation, and ensuring efficiency in operations. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience in the Pharma/Biotech industry, especially in analytical methods and team leadership.

Formación

• 5+ years experience in chemical API analytical methods.
• Team leadership experience.
• CDMO background or client-facing experience is preferred.

We are supporting a Spanish Pharmaceutical company who hold a proven track record across a range of therapeutic areas. They have products on the market across the globe, and a strong R&D Clinical Pipeline. They not only manufacture their own products, but support smaller companies across Europe through contract manufacturing and Research and Development.

With the expansion of their mainstay site in Barcelona, they are seeking a Leader for their Analytical method development department. Leading a team of 40 FTE, they need a strategic thinker, with a proven track record in the Pharma / Biotech industry in leadership functions.

Key Responsibilities :

• Leading the Analytical Methods Validation and Transfer.
• Disciplinary leadership of team of 40 FTE.
• Management of Customer relationships.
• Providing Strategic input to the business and Quality unit.
• Oversight of validation and transfer of analytical methods.
• Improving the efficiency and effectiveness of analytical methods.
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Management of resources and balance workload.

Qualifications :

• Relevant Pharmaceutical / Biotech education.
• 5+ years experience in chemical API analytical methods.
• Team leadership experience.
• CDMO Background, or client facing experience.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements.
