Fraser Dove International is partnering exclusively with a leading biopharmaceutical organisation. Operating from a newly established facility, they are committed to setting new standards in biologic drug substance manufacturing.

Our client is seeking an accomplished leader to oversee downstream biologics operations and build a best-in-class manufacturing team.

Your objectives :

• Establish and lead a downstream manufacturing function from greenfield to commercial readiness.
• Ensure compliance with GMP and regulatory requirements while achieving operational excellence.
• Build and develop a high-performing, safety-first manufacturing team.

What you will do :

• Ensure compliance with GMP, HSE and all applicable pharma regulations and standards.
• Hire, onboard and develop a skilled manufacturing team focused on quality and performance.
• Drive process optimisation strategies to improve efficiency and maintain product consistency.
• Analyse production data and quality metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
• Oversee inventory management to support uninterrupted, lean manufacturing operations.
• Introduce smart manufacturing technologies to enable digital process control and real-time decision making.
• Promote sustainable practices in manufacturing, including energy reduction and green chemistry.
• Manage departmental budgets and allocate resources to align with business goals.
• Translate organisational goals into actionable training and development plans for staff.

What you will bring :

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in biologics manufacturing, particularly monoclonal antibodies.
• Experience managing biologics downstream processes, ideally in a start-up or scale-up setting.
• Proven people leadership and team development skills.
• Strong understanding of GMP compliance and regulatory standards.
• Competence with manufacturing metrics and data-driven decision making.
• University degree in chemistry, pharmacy, economics or equivalent.
