A leading education group is seeking a Director of the Accounting Shared Service Center in Marbella, Spain. The ideal candidate holds a Master's degree in Accounting or a related field, with at least 15 years of experience across audit, tax, and accounting areas. Experience in international group finance and familiarity with consolidation procedures are required. Proficiency in MS Office Suite, with a good understanding of data analysis techniques, is essential. Knowledge of Dynamics AX7, Hyperion, and BI software like Jedox is a plus. Fluency in English and Spanish is required, with French being advantageous. Strong managerial and leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience in developing and delivering financial presentations to executive audiences are essential.
As Director of the Accounting Shared Service Center, you will oversee operational finance and accounting functions for the SSC across 15 entities, supervise a team of 25 professionals, and ensure accurate, efficient, and compliant financial reporting and processes.
