The Global Program Lead (GPL) manages one or more development programs of drug candidates by leading multidisciplinary/cross-functional teams, aligning with the company's strategy.
The GPL is responsible for creating and delivering an integrated asset strategy throughout the lifecycle to maximize the value of the assets or programs.
Responsibilities include leading the program team to meet objectives according to quality standards and timelines validated with the Development Committee, overseeing the program budget, and ensuring activities are conducted within the framework of the asset strategy with cross-functional alignment.
The GPL ensures validation and reporting to the Development Committee, manages program strategy, planning, execution, and risk assessment, and develops strategic options for governance review.
Additional responsibilities involve implementing communication plans internally and externally, engaging with stakeholders, and representing the company in various forums.
Ideal candidates will have an advanced scientific degree or equivalent experience, strong understanding of regulatory requirements, extensive experience in biotech/pharma, knowledge of drug development, and proven leadership in advancing pharmaceutical products.
The role requires excellent communication skills, ability to influence, supervise staff, interpret complex documents, perform calculations, and solve problems with ingenuity.
