JDL Recruitment partners with a fast-growing Middle-Eastern data centre platform expanding across Europe, seeking a Director of Business Development and Site Acquisition based in Madrid, Spain. The role focuses on growing the European footprint by identifying and acquiring land and powered sites, and securing grid capacity, permits, and local relationships to enable developable sites.

The position requires deep experience in data centre or large-scale development, fluent English and Spanish, and

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Engineering, Business, Law or related field.
• Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in data centres, energy, infrastructure or large-scale development.
• Direct experience in site origination and acquisition and power-related development in European markets.
• Experience structuring land transactions, options, joint ventures or platform acquisitions.

Responsabilidades

• Define European expansion strategy and identify priority regions based on power, demand and regulatory conditions.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of land, powered land, and brownfield opportunities across target geographies.
• Develop relationships with landowners, developers, utilities, grid operators and authorities.
