A leading tech company seeks a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead the architectural design of a global application. You will manage a diverse team while ensuring a scalable and secure backend system. This role also offers growth opportunities into VP of Engineering, making it vital for candidates to have over 10 years of experience in technical leadership and a flair for innovation.

Formación

• 10+ years of overall experience.
• 4+ years in leadership roles managing backend teams.
• Strong preference for startup or SaaS experience.
• Experience managing offshore teams.
• Mandatory full system build experience.

Responsabilidades

• Architect backend system end-to-end.
• Design scalable global secure platform.

CTO for Global App

Responsibilities:

1. Architect TT’s backend system end-to-end
2. Design a highly scalable, global, secure platform
3. Supervise a global hybrid team (India backend, Vietnam frontend, SEA QA, etc.)
4. Choose & build the technical stack
5. Manage technical debt prevention
6. Build core APIs, data model, and cloud architecture
7. Eventually grow into VP of Engineering / long-term CTO as the company scales

Technical Requirements

• Backend Architecture: Expert
• API Development (REST, WebSocket, real-time): Expert
• Database (Postgres, SQL, NoSQL, scalability): Expert
• Cloud Platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure): Strong experience
• Security (data privacy, GDPR, end-to-end encryption): Very strong
• Scalable SaaS system design: Proven experience
• Team Leadership: Strong leadership, experience managing remote global teams
• Fullstack familiarity (hands-on backend preferable): Good
• Video platform architecture (important due to live sessions): Very important
• AI / ML (optional, for MVP, bonus for future): Optional but nice

Experience Profile

• Minimum Years of Experience: 10+ years total
• Past Leadership Roles: 4+ years leading backend teams
• Startups or SaaS Experience: Very strong preference
• Managed Offshore Teams: Ideally yes
• Full System Build Experience: Mandatory (not just feature work)
• English Communication: Fluent (for global team management)
