Our pipeline has tripled in size over the past few years, and we aim to continue pioneering in this field by building on our unique scientific, technical, regulatory, and commercial expertise.

Position : Director of BD&L Biosimilars, International Region

The Director will identify suitable Biosimilar assets for in-licensing in the region, including search, evaluation, negotiations, and closing BD deals. They will also manage the regional Biosimilar Portfolio based on country and regional needs. This role requires an energetic, collaborative individual capable of managing internal and external stakeholders throughout the deal-making process.

Responsibilities

  • Scout for high-quality Biosimilar assets as required by the region.
  • Evaluate options and shortlist the most suitable candidates.
  • Negotiate commercial terms with partners.
  • Coordinate with internal cross-functional teams and manage due diligence processes.
  • Negotiate contracts with partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Engage with countries in LatAm, AME, and APAC to gather forecasts and wish lists.
  • Coordinate regional portfolio workshops.
  • Maintain an updated database of assets and companies, and secure competitive intelligence periodically.

Qualifications

  • University degree in Science and / or Business; MS or MBA preferred.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of other SIR market languages is desirable.
  • Over 5 years of pharma industry experience in business development.
  • Knowledge of Biosimilars.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
