Job summary

Sun Chemical seeks a Director of AI Transformation to drive enterprise-scale AI initiatives across commercial, manufacturing, and functional teams. You will translate AI capabilities into measurable business value, shape governance, and lead cross-functional programs world-wide.

The role requires strong executive communication, strategic leadership, and a track record of scaling AI in a global matrix organization. This is a high-impact, senior leadership position based in Spain.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in business/strategy transformation or technology leadership.
• 3+ years owning AI/ML or advanced analytics programs.
• Experience building/scaling AI Center of Excellence.
• Global, matrixed org experience; cross-cultural stakeholder navigation.
• Knowledge of AI governance, data privacy, and ethics.

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise AI transformation roadmap with prioritized use cases.
• Lead federated AI CoE model balancing central governance with embedded BU ownership.
• Partner with leaders to quantify AI opportunity impacts on revenue, margins, productivity.
• Assess workforce impacts and design future-state skills.
• Develop AI governance framework including risk and compliance alignment.
• Lead AI pilots and scale initiatives enterprise-wide with IT and Data & Analytics.
• Build AI literacy programs for varying technical levels.
• Create business case, ROI tracking, and KPIs for AI investments.
