Location : Tarragona, Spain

Salary : €50,000 - €55,000 gross / year + performance-based bonuses

Contract Type : Full-time, Permanent

Are you an experienced Spa or Wellness professional looking for your next leadership challenge in a luxury hospitality environment?

We are seeking a Spa Director / a to oversee and elevate the full operations of a high-end spa located within a prestigious hotel in Tarragona. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in spa or wellness management, excellent team leadership, and strong business and customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities :

Operations & Guest Experience

• Lead the day-to-day spa operations, maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, functionality, and guest satisfaction.
• Oversee inventory, purchasing, and vendor relationships, including uniforms, amenities, and retail products.
• Ensure all areas meet luxury hospitality standards and compliance.
• Develop and implement creative spa marketing and promotional strategies (e.g., group services, gifting programs, seasonal events).
• Support integration of spa offerings within the hotel's marketing plan and collaborate closely with Sales & Marketing teams.
• Establish partnerships to increase brand awareness and customer base.

Revenue & Budget Management

• Analyze and monitor P&L performance, controlling expenses and maximizing profitability.
• Manage scheduling, payroll, and incentive systems to align with budget goals.
• Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing spa team.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, service excellence, and open communication.
• Oversee employee evaluations, development plans, and recognition programs.

Candidate Profile :

• Bachelor's or Associate Degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, Wellness, or related fields.
• Minimum 2 years in a leadership role within a luxury spa, wellness center, or hotel/resort environment.
• Experience in guest services, front office, or sales & marketing within wellness is highly valued.
• Strong business acumen with experience in departmental budgeting and P&L optimization.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English is mandatory.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
