We are seeking a motivated and proactive software engineer to join our content ecosystem team. This role is part of our digital products, platforms & services team responsible for designing, developing, and rolling out state-of-the-art digital products across brands, regions, and divisions globally.

The successful candidate will play a key part in supporting and evolving our digital assets management (DAM) platform, contributing to the delivery of seamless and scalable solutions for managing digital assets across our organization.

As a key member of the content product technical team, you will work closely with experienced engineers, product owners, and stakeholders to implement and optimize workflows and features built on Aprimo. You will help ensure our DAM system supports the needs of our global brands and segments, contributing to the content delivery process.

This role requires foundational understanding of backend development and content technologies. Hands-on experience with DAM SaaS platforms, REST APIs, and cloud services will be a strong plus. We value your willingness to learn and contribute to system integrations, custom configurations, and support ongoing improvements in the DAM space.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain configurations for our multi-brand global platforms.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define requirements and prioritize feature development.
• Implement best practices for backend development, including code quality, scalability, security, and performance optimization.
• Integrate backend systems with third-party APIs, services, and databases.
• Optimize backend code for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Participate in test strategy writing automated tests (if needed).
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Stay current on backend development trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
• Troubleshoot and debug backend issues, working closely with cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. An advanced degree is preferred.
• 2+ years configuring and developing with SaaS tools.
• Hands-on software development experience, with proficiency in some programming languages such as Javascript, Python, Kotlin, or Java. Good knowledge of backend frameworks and libraries is a plus.
• Experience configuring, evolving, and maintaining products with SaaS tools.
• Hands-on expertise and proficient use of RESTful API design principles and best practices.
• Foundational knowledge with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI / CD pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Attention to detail in documenting technical specifications and data-related workflows.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
