Digital Sales Manager

Be the trailblazer! Report to our CEO as Wikifarmer’s first Digital Sales Manager. Shape our sales strategy, drive SME growth, and define how agri-businesses succeed on a growing global platform.

Created by Petros and Ilias in 2017, Wikifarmer is a global platform with the mission of empowering farmers by educating them and offering them access to the open market to sell their products at fair prices.

In a nutshell

As our first Digital Sales Manager at Wikifarmer, you’ll be at the forefront of accelerating our growth within the dynamic SME sector. You’ll drive platform adoption, connect innovative products and services with business customers, onboard new clients, and support their success on Wikifarmer. Your efforts will turn new accounts into loyal partners who grow with us.

Day-to-day responsibilities:
  1. Manage the entire sales cycle for SME clients via phone, email, and online channels, converting leads into customers with tailored solutions.
  2. Identify and engage new prospects, building lasting relationships.
  3. Demonstrate Wikifarmer’s platform, guide onboarding, and support first transactions.
  4. Empower clients to use the platform independently for future orders.
  5. Build trust-based partnerships through ongoing communication and support.
  6. Provide customer feedback to improve the marketplace.
  7. Meet or exceed sales targets and maintain CRM records.
  8. Collaborate with teams on outreach campaigns and training.
  9. Stay informed on agricultural trends and competitors, emphasizing Wikifarmer’s unique value.
  10. Present pricing insights and upsell opportunities at appropriate times.
Requirements:
  • Business fluency in English and at least one other language (Spanish, Italian, French, or German).
  • Proven success managing full sales cycles for new business.
  • Strong digital skills and experience with online tools.
  • Experience with CRM platforms (HubSpot preferred).
  • Marketplace or e-commerce experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of the food industry, especially in fresh produce or olive oil, is a big advantage.
  • Experience in fast-paced, startup environments.
