Offer Description:

We seek a professional to develop and execute R&D&I projects, technological services (analysis, testing, technical advice), and technical training for companies in the Sustainable and Future Mobility sector, within the Technologies area. Our main R&D lines focus on lightweight vehicle technologies, smart composites, materials for LIB housings, hydrogen tanks, and electromagnetic shielding at 5G frequencies, among others. The department serves sectors such as automotive, aeronautics, naval, railway, space, and defense.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing services and advice to clients and internal teams.
• Collaborating across AIMPLAS departments.
• Drafting state-of-the-art reports.
• Preparing bids and work proposals.
• Developing project proposals following institutional templates.
• Participating in budget preparation.
• Conducting technical developments.
• Performing pilot plant tests (compounding, extrusion, injection, composite formulation).
• Ensuring proper equipment functioning, including maintenance and calibrations.
• Searching for and selecting new equipment or accessories.
• Analyzing results, drawing conclusions, and reporting.
• Presenting findings.
• Engaging in scientific dissemination and communication activities.

Candidate Profile:

High analytical skills, organization, strong communication and influencing abilities, initiative, creativity, flexibility, customer orientation, leadership, self-motivation, teamwork, empathy, and people orientation.

Required Education:

Higher university degree, preferably a PhD in Materials Engineering, Aeronautics, Chemistry, or similar.

Additional Qualifications:

• Valuable: Master's in plastic materials or aeronautics.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.

Experience:

• Knowledge of thermoplastic and thermoset composites and their processing (ATL, AFP, SMC).
• Experience in stress simulation and related sectors is an asset.
• Versatility with business development and R&D project execution.
• Experience in mobility and transport sectors is an asset.
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
• B1 driving license.
