Descripción del empleo

APM Terminals plays an important role in enabling the global Maersk Ocean and Logistics network, serving Shipping Lines, Beneficial Cargo Owners, Freight Forwarders, intermodal logistics providers, and integrating with local port authorities, customs, and government bodies across our global network of transshipment, import, and export gateway terminals.

In support of the broader Maersk strategy, we are accelerating the transformation of our business from a portfolio of independently operated terminals into a safer, better, bigger global terminals operator.

We Offer

The Business Analyst HUBS will be responsible for maintaining and supporting the Digital Operations applications and solutions for the HUB terminals. They will execute modernization and standardization efforts across the HUB terminals and liaise between Global Strategic Demands and Local Terminal Initiatives. They will manage system changes from start to finish, ensuring developments meet business needs, comply with Global Standards, and are successfully designed, developed, tested, documented, and implemented.

Principle Accountabilities

  • Support and maintain business applications within the Digital Operations domain.
  • Proven experience in the TOS area, mainly Navis XPS/N4.
  • Good understanding of EDI implementation and support.
  • Understanding of Gate Processes and industry Gate Operating Systems.
  • Execute upgrades, software enhancements, and changes in line with global change management practices, minimizing service interruptions.
  • Resolve incidents following standard incident management processes within agreed service levels.
  • Collaborate with regional Business Analysts and Global teams on new business needs, requirements, and enhancements.
  • Provide training to stakeholders on functionalities.
  • Deploy new standard capabilities aligned with the global change and modernization agenda.
  • Work with regional and local teams to ensure infrastructure supports application performance and security.
  • Keep track of all business applications and underlying technology in scope.
  • Manage the application lifecycle and execute release management.
  • Contribute to continuous business improvement and achievement of objectives.
  • Follow global standards, policies, and operational procedures.

Critical Qualifications / Skills / Experience

  • Experience in the Transportation and/or Logistics industry.
  • Knowledge of Container Terminal Business and Terminal Operation System Software.
  • Knowledge of Container Terminal Automation is an advantage.
  • Good IT environment knowledge.
  • Experience with Business Process Modelling and project management.
  • Ability to devise IT test plans and train users.
  • Work effectively under pressure with good communication skills.
  • Ability to act independently, with strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Understanding of application programming, database, and system design is advantageous.
  • Proactive in suggesting improvements and solutions.
  • Strong incident management, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to support and maintain PP applications aligned with business needs.
  • Global standards compliance and willingness to travel as needed.
  • English proficiency: Medium to High.
  • Knowledge of Navis XPS & N4 is a significant advantage.
