Amaris Consulting, Paradela, Galicia, Spain, seeks a Business Analyst to support Connectivity & IoT initiatives. You will collect and document requirements, bridge business and tech teams, and help define IoT solutions in an agile framework.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years in connectivity/IoT, strong analytical skills, and fluent English. Based in or able to work from Barcelona, with remote work options and a broad benefits package.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience as a Business Analyst or functional consultant in connectivity, IoT, or digital transformation projects.
• Experience in requirements gathering, process mapping, and writing functional specifications.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Collect, analyze, and document functional and technical requirements from business stakeholders in the connectivity domain.
• Act as the liaison between business units and technical/development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Define and monitor IoT and connectivity solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Create and maintain functional documentation including user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
• Support project management activities: planning, follow-up on deliverables, and reporting to stakeholders.
• Participate in testing and validation; identify areas for process improvement.

WHAT WOULD YOU NEED?

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field
• 2–4 years of experience as a Business Analyst or functional consultant in connectivity, IoT, or digital transformation projects
• Strong knowledge of IoT architecture concepts and connectivity protocols (MQTT, REST APIs, HTTP, etc.)
• Experience in requirements gathering, process mapping, and writing functional specifications
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools such as Jira or Confluence
• Ability to bridge technical and business teams, translating complex requirements into actionable solutions
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus)
• Based in or able to work from Barcelona
