Job summary

ING is seeking a Digital Data Expert with a Product Owner role to join the Cross Domain Data Partners Team in Spain. You will guide delivery of regulatory reporting initiatives and ensure high-quality developments within an Agile framework.

The role requires strong English, IT affinity, and effective cross-functional collaboration across Risk, Compliance, and Legal stakeholders. You will work as part of a squad to define requirements, participate in testing and Go-live, and drive end-to-end

Qualifications

• Master or Bachelor's degree with 3–6 years of experience managing complex projects.
• Fluent in English; strong communication.
• IT affinity and understanding of customer journeys; collaboration with IT teams.

Responsibilities

• Define functional requirements within an Agile squad and support testing and Go-live.
• Oversee Business, Regulatory and Global reporting; resolve incidents and support teams.
• Identify products/services to meet customer needs; voice of the internal customer to improve processes.
• Improve end-to-end service for day-to-day operations and connect with internal/external partners.
• Collaborate with Risk, Compliance and Legal to ensure regulatory compliance.

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Digital Data Expert (with Product Owner role) to join our Cross Domain Data Partners Team of Data & AI Tribe in Spain.

The responsibility of this team is to ensure delivery and compliance with regulatory reporting obligations and global initiatives, delivering high quality developments based on Agile Methodology. Making things happen, helping others be successful, always being one step ahead-that's our DNA.

Your key responsibilities:

• As a Digital Data Expert, with Product Owner role for COO areas, you will:
• As a key member of a squad, you will provide a broad knowledge on ING products, services, channels, and Regulatory Reporting.
• You are part of the delivery team to define functional requirements, participation in testing and support before the Go-live.
• You control the process of Business, Regulatory and Global reporting, solve the incidents in case of errors, provide the information and help to the support teams or the providers.
• You identify the products or services that best meet the customer's stated needs, use personal expertise to propose quantities and product configurations. You represent the voice of the internal customer improving the processes.
• You are responsible for improving the service with an end-to-end mindset, for the day-to-day performance, for building reliable business operations and services, and for connecting it with internal or external parties.
• You work with Risk, Compliance, and Legal stakeholders, to make sure our products and services comply with regulation and policies.

• Be able to translate customer feedback into improvements of our digital journeys.
• IT affinity: understand how the customer journeys connect to the underlying IT landscape, incl. the technical dependencies on components owned by other Tribes; and communicate with, and where necessary challenge, the IT developers and architects.
• Strong effective presentations skills.
• Excellent communication skills. Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong English is a must have.
