Airbus Defence and Space SAU in Getafe (Madrid) seeks a National Digital Coordinator for Facility Management and Real Estate. You will drive a major digital transformation, bridging global roadmaps and local operations, deploying BIM, GIS, IoT and Digital Twin solutions across Spain.

Lead a network of Digital Business Partners, ensure Run-state operations, and safeguard data quality within the Building Lifecycle Management ecosystem. Fluency in English and Spanish is required.

Formación

• University degree in Engineering, Architecture or Digital Technologies.
• Proven track record coordinating digital transformation projects across multi-site environments.
• Strong soft skills: autonomy, leadership, problem solving, relationship building and influencing without authority.
• Fluency in English and Spanish.
• Solid knowledge of data-driven environments (BIM, GIS, CAD/CAFM) and data integration.

Responsabilidades

• Support roll-out of digital solutions (BIM, GIS, IoT) and manage the cross-site Digital Twin supplier for Spain.

• Steer transition of digital solutions from deployment to steady-state operations (Run mode).
• Safeguard data quality within the BLM ecosystem and ensure a single source of truth.
• Collect requirements and feedback, represent Spain in global digital committees, drive change via communication and training.

Job Description: Introduction

An opportunity for a National Digital Coordinator - Facility Management & Real Estate has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space, Getafe (Madrid).

Brief description of the department’s mission

The selected candidate will join the Digital Office within Facility Management and Real Estate as the National Digital Coordinator for Spain. Our department is in charge of driving a major transformation from PLM (Aircraft-centric) to BLM (Building Lifecycle Management), digitizing our physical assets and optimizing operations through a robust digital strategy. The team operates in close contact with multi-site, multidisciplinary stakeholders to bridge the gap between global digital roadmaps and local operational realities, deploying innovative solutions (BIM, GIS, IoT, Digital Twin) across all Spanish sites.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Act as the national focal point for all Digital Office initiatives in Spain, ensuring alignment between global digital strategies and local site requirements.
• Support the roll-out of digital solutions (BIM, GIS, IoT) and manage the cross-site and cross-division Digital Twin supplier for Spain.
• Build, develop, and animate a network of Digital Business Partners across Spanish sites to champion digital transformation and drive on-site adoption.
• Steer the transition of digital solutions from deployment to steady-state operations ("Run" mode), guaranteeing operational support and local autonomy.
• Safeguard the "Single Source of Truth" by supervising data collection, integration (BIM/GIS), and quality control within the BLM ecosystem.
• Collect functional requirements and feedback across service lines, represent Spanish operations in global digital committees, and drive change management through targeted communication and training.

SKILLS

• Education: University degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Digital Technologies.
• Experience: Proven track record in coordinating digital transformation projects or programs, with experience deploying complex technical solutions across multi-site environments (ideally in industrial or real estate contexts).
• Soft skills: High level of autonomy, leadership, strong problem-solving mindset, and demonstrated ability to build relationships, influence without hierarchical authority, and coordinate decentralized networks.
• Languages: Negotiation level in both English and Spanish.
• Technical knowledge: Solid understanding of data-driven environments (BIM, GIS, CAD/CAFM), data integration, and the ability to connect technical capabilities to operational business needs.
• Valuable / Nice to have: Specialization in BIM, GIS, or Information Systems will be valuable.
