Job summary

Airbus Defence and Space SAU in Spain seeks an IT/IS Business Partner focused on delivering IT/IS solutions for Space Systems AIT and Programs. You will work with a wide range of stakeholders across IT Security, Architecture, Applications and Governance to drive efficient IT deliveries that support satellite design, production and testing.

As Digital BP, you will interface between Spanish Space Systems users and the Digital organisation, lead IT projects, and translate business needs into IT

Qualifications

• Educated to bachelor level in Information Technology or related discipline.
• Experience coordinating a wide range of internal Digital stakeholders for optimized delivery while managing customer expectations.
• Interest in IT tech, spacecrafts, and international teamwork.
• Willingness to travel within Europe.
• Spanish and English at negotiation level.

Responsibilities

• Act as the interface between Spanish Space Systems users and the Digital organisation.
• Lead IT projects and non-standard demands for the TS (Space Systems) perimeter cross-functional teams.
• Contribute to the Spanish plateau for the IT/IS carve-out of the future Space JV.
• Translate business needs into IT requirements and drive IT solutions across Digital teams.
• Close support to day-to-day operational activities as Digital BP focal point; local SQCDP attendance.

We are seeking within Spain an IT/IS Business Partner with a focus on delivering IT/IS solutions for the Space Systems AIT (TSM) and Programs. The environment is dynamic, cutting edge and very close to our satellite products. You will join an international IT team that is active and located in all core countries and will contribute vital IT/IS deliveries for various high profile, strategic European Space programs. Understanding the Space Systems business line IT/IS needs and effectively turning them into efficient solutions is key. You will work with a wide range of stakeholders from IT-Security, IT-Architecture, IT Applications and IT-Governance to make all of this happen. This role is key for delivering an efficient IT experience towards the colleagues designing, producing and testing our satellites and is therefore directly linked to the successful execution of our customer commitments in Airbus DS for Space Systems. As Digital Business Partner for Space Systems you will need to: Work as the interface between our Spanish Space Systems business users (including Executive Management) and the internal Digital organisation. Act as "trusted advisor" for all topics related to Digital, maintain and improve relationships and ensure customer satisfaction through ensuring IT/IS deliveries Lead IT projects and Non-Standard-Demands for the TS (Space Systems) perimeter OCOQOT via cross functional and cross-country teams that are spread throughout Europe Contribute to the Spanish plateau for the IT/IS Carve-Out of the future Space JV Develop a solid understanding of the customer's existing business and business processes ideally end-to-end, the key drivers and measures of success for the business, and the short- and long-term direction of the business and related IT technologies to make it happen Identify areas for improvement in business processes providing possible IT solutions compliant with the IT strategy and advises on the life cycle of the information solutions. Translates the business needs into IT requirements, address and make them happen, steering a wide array of Digital contributors (Architecture, Security, Infrastructure, Governance, Applications) Contribute to the Digital OP creation Close support to business day-to-day operational activities as Digital BP focal point (incidence management, handling and facilitating any escalations...). Local support will be required (SQCDP attendance, TSMS committee as Digital representative…).

Requirements

• Educated to a bachelor level (or equivalent) in Information Technology or a related discipline
• Experience how to make things happen within a typical IT department, gathering, steering and aligning a wide range of internal Digital stakeholders (Architecture, Security, Infrastructure, Data Transport, etc.) for an optimised OQOCOT delivery while managing customer expectations and requirements
• An interest in IT technology, spacecrafts and working in an international team
• A willingness and curiosity to learn and ramp up on new technology, solutions, products
• Willingness for occasional business trips within Europe
• Language Skills: Spanish and English at negotiation level
