Amentum seeks a Jake’s Place Manager on Diego Garcia to oversee planning, organization, and execution of operations at Jake’s Place, including food and beverage services, recreation, dining and entertainment for high‑quality patron experiences.

Requirements include a four‑year degree or 3+ years in related operations, plus five years as a middle manager; strong leadership, budgeting, safety, and customer service.

Formación

• Four-year degree from an accredited college or university in business management, hospitality, or related field.
• Alternatively, at least three years of general experience in food, beverage, recreation, and entertainment operations.
• Five years of specialized middle-management experience in a civilian commercial business role.

Responsabilidades

• Manage food and beverage services, entertainment, and recreational activities in line with mission requirements and government standards.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve efficiency and contract compliance.
• Supervise staff, provide training and mentorship, and drive service excellence.
• Monitor customer satisfaction and drive continuous improvement across services.
• Oversee financial performance including budgeting, cost control, and resource allocation.
• Manage inventory of food, beverages, supplies, and equipment.
• Ensure health, safety, sanitation, and environmental standards are met.
• Collaborate with government representatives to plan events and activities.
• Maintain accessibility and readiness to handle issues or emergencies on shift.
• Respond to emergencies on-site within one hour of notification.
• Maintain records and reports for transparency and audits.
• Market Jake’s Place activities through appropriate channels to boost participation.
• Foster a welcoming community aligned with installation interests.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
