Our DevOps Platform Team is looking for a DevOps Engineer with expertise in designing and implementing solutions on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and architecting resilient, secure Kubernetes environments.

As we migrate and integrate our existing web and function apps into AKS, this professional will play a pivotal role in defining infrastructure, automating deployment, and enhancing the overall DevOps ecosystem.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Implement and optimize Kubernetes (AKS) environments to support scalable applications and infrastructure.
2. Develop and maintain Helm charts for efficient deployment and management of applications.
3. CI/CD pipelines support, leveraging GitOps workflows and automating infrastructure provisioning.
4. Implement and manage Istio for ingress and service mesh solutions, ensuring secure, efficient communication between microservices.
5. Collaborate with development teams to streamline deployments and improve operational efficiency through automation.
6. Manage monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
7. Manage microservices on AKS, ensuring seamless performance and stability.
8. Develop scripts and tooling to automate operational tasks and improve deployment efficiency.

Must-Have Qualifications:

1. Hands-on experience with K8S and Cloud providers: Azure, AWS, GCP.
2. Knowledge of creating and maintaining Helm charts for Kubernetes applications.
3. C# experience.
4. Experience with ArgoCD or similar tools for continuous deployment and GitOps workflows.
5. Knowledge of Istio or similar service mesh solutions and ingress configuration in Kubernetes.
6. Experience with CI/CD pipelines, scripting (Bash, PowerShell, Python), and Infrastructure as Code.
7. Understanding of Azure networking and security best practices.
8. Experience on Docker.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

1. Knowledge of MongoDB setup, scaling, and management.
2. Familiarity with DNS in Azure.
3. Understanding of emerging DevOps technologies and interest in staying up to date with the latest trends and tooling.
4. .Net experience.
