Formación

• 5+ years of experience as DevOps or Cloud Engineer.

What are we looking for?

We are seeking a DevOps/Cloud Engineer to be part of our team working with a highly digitalized top bank customer in the US & UK markets.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Work as part of a cross-functional engineering team applying Site Reliability Engineering principles to in-house developed front-end applications.
• Maintain oversight of how managed systems interrelate, with autonomy to improve system availability and fault tolerance.
• Enhance reliability, monitoring, and observability of services deployed within AWS in a complex, distributed environment.
• Identify opportunities to reduce operational overheads through observability and automation.
• Define, implement, and meet service level objectives.
• Participate in system design, platform management, and service reviews.
• Be willing to be part of a 24/7 on-call rotation (additional pay provided).

What UST expects from you:

• +5 years of experience as a DevOps, Cloud Engineer, or similar role.
• Experience in cloud architecture and adoption patterns (AWS preferred; Azure, GCP also useful).
• Strong understanding of infrastructure as code and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins).
• Experience with containers and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of distributed backend systems focusing on performance, scalability, and resiliency.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools (NewRelic, Grafana, etc.).
• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Jira).
• Good command of English (C1 level).

Work details:

Remote work within Spain, during business hours. No intensive workdays on Fridays or during summer.
